Additional Information

The sunny side of Louisville is beaming with a variety of sewing,  friendly conversation, and great fellowship. The Inseams Neighborhood  Group meets the second Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at  the home of Susan Stewart just a short jog across the Ohio River.

For the past several years, the group has been building their quilt  making skills through a series of projects based upon Harriet Hargrave  and Carrie Hargrave’s Quilter’s Academy series of books. The group is  currently working on Volume 3 – Junior Year. Each time the group meets  we focus on a technique and a project or sample that showcases that  technique. In addition, members are encouraged to bring items for share  and tell each month. If you don’t wish to work on the current month’s  project, you are always welcome to bring a sewing project of your  choice.

In January 2018, the group will begin piecing of the  Twilight Echoes quilt from the American Patchwork & Quilting  Magazine – December 2016 Issue, pages 40 – 48. This project will  continue over several months in 2018. This is a paper-pieced quilt  designed by Connie Kauffman. If you wish to join us on this quilt,  please visit on how to obtain the directions and patterns for this quilt.

After  the meeting. the group enjoys visiting a local restaurant for lunch.  All skill levels are welcome, and we encourage our members to share  their love of sewing. We would love to have you join us.
